Mikä kollektiivi?
Malmi/Kollektiivi on 16–29 vuotiaille nuorille suunnattu työpaja, jossa tarjotaan kerran viikossa ohjausta valokuvaukseen, videontekoon tai mediataiteeseen osallistujien omien kiinnostuksen kohteiden pohjalta. Ryhmän jäsenet pääsevät yhdessä esittämään teoksiaan taidenäyttelyissä, esityksissä ja muissa taiteellisissa ulostuloissa. Ryhmää ohjaavat valokuvataiteilijat Henri Airo ja Patrik Rastenberger.
Malmi/Kollektiivi kokoontuu Malmitalolla (Taideluokka 3, Ala-Malmin Tori 1, 00700 Helsinki) joka tiistai kello 17.30–20.30. Syyskauden 2025 tapaamiset alkavat Tiistaina 16.9.2025. Voit liittyä mukaan saapumalla tapaamiseen, etukäteis-ilmoittautumista ei tarvita. Tervetuloa mukaan!
Hankkeen tuottaa Tiedon julkistamisen kulttuuritehdas ry (Tiuku ry) ja sitä rahoittaa Helsingin kaupunki sekä Patricia Seppälän säätiö. Hankkeen tarkoituksena on tuoda esiin nuorten ääniä tekemällä ja esittämällä taidetta Malmin alueella.
What collective?
Malmi/Collective is a workshop for young people aged 16-29, offering guidance in photography, video-making or media art in weekly group meetings. All activities are based on the participants' own interests. Together, the group members also have the opportunity to present their work in art exhibitions, performances and other artistic productions. The group is facilitated by visual artists Henri Airo and Patrik Rastenberger.
Malmi/Kollektiivi meets every tuesday at the Malmi Cultural Center (Art Classroom 3, Ala-Malmi Tori 1, 00700 Helsinki) from 17.30 – 20.30. Meetings for the 2025 fall season will begin on the 16th of September 2025. You can join the group by simply arriving to a meeting, no pre-registration required. Welcome!
The project is produced by Tiedon julkistamisen kulttuuritehdas ry (Tiuku ry) and it is funded by the City of Helsinki and the Patricia Seppälä Foundation. The purpose of the initiative is to give a platform for young people to create and exhibit art in the Malmi area.
